Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 01: Srinagar Full-Day Local Sightseeing

We pick you up from Srinagar airport or railway station and drop you at your hotel.
Visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal and the Shankaracharya Temple.
Spend the evening strolling along the Boulevard by Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight in Srinagar.

Day 02: Srinagar to Gulmarg – Overnight in the Meadow

Drive about 2 hours to Gulmarg and check in, so you are already up the mountain when the crowds arrive.
Ride the Gulmarg Gondola (own cost), then walk to St Mary's Church and the old Maharani Temple on the meadow.
Watch the evening light on Apharwat from your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Gulmarg.

Day 03: Gulmarg to Pahalgam via the Saffron Town of Pampore

A slow morning in Gulmarg, then a scenic 4-hour drive to Pahalgam.
Stop in Pampore for kahwa and to see how Kashmiri saffron is sold, and at the 9th-century Avantipora temple ruins.
Arrive in Pahalgam by evening. Dinner and overnight by the Lidder River.

Day 04: Pahalgam Valleys Day – Aru, Betaab and Chandanwari

A full day in Pahalgam instead of a rushed few hours.
Visit Aru, Betaab and Chandanwari by local union taxi (own cost), or ride a pony up to the Baisaran meadow.
River rafting on the Lidder is possible from May to August (own cost). Dinner and overnight in Pahalgam.

Day 05: Pahalgam to Srinagar and a Houseboat Evening

Leave Pahalgam after breakfast and drive back to Srinagar past apple and walnut orchards.
Check in to your houseboat on Dal Lake in the afternoon.
Enjoy a complimentary sunset Shikara ride. Dinner and overnight on the houseboat.

Day 06: Private Shikara Breakfast and a Wazwan Dinner

A private Shikara picks you up at sunrise for breakfast on the water and a quiet visit to the floating market.
Afternoon free for a Kashmiri spa treatment or shopping for pashmina with our trusted weavers.
A traditional multi-course wazwan dinner on your heritage houseboat. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 07: Srinagar Airport or Railway Station Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel or houseboat by 11 AM.
Transfer to Srinagar airport or railway station with wonderful memories.
