We check every property ourselves and drop any that fall short. Rooms are simpler and smaller than in 3-star hotels, but comfortable for a night after a long day of sightseeing.

How can you make a Kashmir trip even cheaper?

Travel in March, early April, July or November, when hotel rates are lowest, and book flights to Srinagar early.

Share the cab with friends or family, and share union taxis in Pahalgam and Sonamarg with another group.
