Our Srinagar to Ladakh tour starts with Dal Lake and a day in Gulmarg before heading east over the Zoji La pass into Ladakh.

You spend nights in Kargil and Leh, cross Khardung La to the Nubra Valley, and drive over Chang La to the colour-changing waters of Pangong Lake, finishing with a flight out of Leh.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 01: Srinagar Full-Day Local Sightseeing

We pick you up from Srinagar airport or railway station and drop you at your hotel.
Visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal and the Shankaracharya Temple.
Spend the evening strolling along the Boulevard by Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight in Srinagar.

Day 02: Srinagar to Gulmarg Day Trip

After breakfast, it's about a 2-hour drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg, the 'meadow of flowers'.
Ride the Gulmarg Gondola (own cost) and enjoy snow in winter or golf and meadow walks in summer.
Drive back from Gulmarg to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Srinagar to Kargil via Zoji La

Cross the Zoji La pass and stop at the Drass War Memorial.
Continue to Kargil.
Dinner and overnight in Kargil.

Day 04: Kargil to Leh

Drive past Lamayuru's 'moonland', Magnetic Hill and the Indus–Zanskar confluence.
Arrive in Leh in the evening.
Dinner and overnight in Leh.

Day 05: Leh Local Sightseeing

Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and the Hall of Fame.
Visit Thiksey and Hemis monasteries.
Dinner and overnight in Leh.

Day 06: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Cross the Khardung La pass to Nubra Valley.
See the Hunder sand dunes and Diskit Monastery.
Overnight in a Nubra camp.

Day 07: Nubra to Leh

Morning at leisure in Nubra.
Drive back to Leh.
Dinner and overnight in Leh.

Day 08: Leh to Pangong Lake

Drive over the Chang La pass.
Spend the afternoon by the colour-changing Pangong Lake.
Overnight in a lakeside camp.

Day 09: Pangong to Leh

Watch the sunrise over Pangong.
Drive back to Leh.
Evening shopping in Leh market. Overnight in Leh.

Day 10: Leh Airport Departure
